Live with a Thai family and in exchange for spending several hours a week helping them learn English they provide food and accommodation! Weekends are normally free to experience the culture by traveling around Thailand.
All over Chile, there are organisations seeking volunteers to help in areas such as housing improvement, day care centres, assistant teachers, rehabilitation centres, education, health centres, and homeless assistance.
Volunteer 20 hours each week in exchange for free room and board. Conversation Partners tutor adults enrolled in community centre classes. Weekends are usually free to explore the local sites.
