My experience went very well – the teaching was fine and the police, the organisation I was tutoring, were appreciative of what I was doing. In Fortuna there were many, many activities, so I was never bored. Towards the end of my 3 months I did have a problem with my host family but after contacting the local agent I was quickly moved to another family for the last 10 days of my time in Costa Rica. In the scheme of things this was a minor problem and overall it was a great experience.
