At EIL we are always on the look out for families who are interested in other people and other cultures to act as hosts for some of the people who want to travel to the UK to learn more about our wonderful culture and way of life. Families need to be able to welcome a stranger into their home as one of their family and make the visitor feel comfortable. Welcome to EIL UK’s new website.

Though it’s still a little rough around the edges and there’s plenty more to be added over time we hope you’ll find it a useful way to learn about our programmes.

We’re also beginning to reach out and offer ways in which you can get involed online with EIL UK: be it writing a blog on this website while you’re volunteering in Ecuador, or helping to raise awareness of development education issues on the EIL UK Facebook page.
