Two new programmes have been added to the opportunities available for volunteers interested in a medical / health placement.

 A project is available in Cordoba in Argentina to volunteer with orphaned and disadvenateged children. For 1 - 3 months volunteers can assist with many different tasks to support the children and staff in the centre.

In partnership with our colleagues at AIPC Pandora in Spain we can offer a selection of interesting Microprojects for volunteers.  These 3 week Microprojects take place in 12 different countries in South America, Asia and Africa in the months of July and August 2011.

Each project has space for 6-10 participants and are suitable for a diverse range of people from different backgrounds, training and education.

EIL UK is offering the unique opportunity for an individual to apply for the ‘Jack Wallace Scholarship’, to enable them to participate in a three month volunteer placement working with the schools in Chicoana in Salta, Argentina.

Applicants will need to be at least 20 years old, and will need to speak a least basic Spanish.
