EIL, in conjunction with a local Malvern charity, offer opportunties for group travel to Thailand.

These programmes are open to individuals and groups of people interested in volunteering in Thailand and in learning more about the culture of this diverse and beautiful country.

Do you live in the West Midlands and are you aged 18 – 25? If so we have 4 places volunteering on a nature reserve in Italy or 2 places volunteering in Portugal, starting end of June or July.

At EIL we are always on the look out for families who are interested in other people and other cultures to act as hosts for some of the people who want to travel to the UK to learn more about our wonderful culture and way of life. Families need to be able to welcome a stranger into their home as one of their family and make the visitor feel comfortable. Did you miss the deadline for applications for the Jack Wallace Travel Award to Argentina for 3 months? They closed on May 1st and all applications have been sent to Argentina for review. Fingers crossed that one of our applicants will be the lucky recipient! However...

Although we cannot offer you another funded scholarship at the moment, there is a substantially reduced price volunteering programme to Chile to help with the reconstruction after the terrible earthquakes which struck the country earlier this year.

After the massive earthquake that devastated many places in Chile, EIL are looking for volunteers to help with the reconstruction of communities and to provide support for the population.
