Experience the excitement of another country's culture for a couple of months on a budget!

Stay with a local family for 1 to 3 months and in exchange for spending 15 hours a week helping them practice English they provide room and board. You're free to spend the rest of the time travelling and experiencing the culture of your host country in depth.

Each family is interviewed and carefully screened by in-country staff and you can get to know them in advance through email and phone calls.

You don't have to be fluent in the local language either, whether you're completely new to it or just want to brush up your skills, we can arrange optional language lessons.

Conversation Corps volunteers must be native English speakers.  They need to have earned a secondary school (high school ) certificate or diploma, be in good health and abide by the family’s rules and habits.

Most Conversation Corps programmes have had a PRICE REDUCTION for 2011. This is a reduction from the price which was charged for the programmes during 2010.
