4 week Intensive Japanese course with homestay

Tokyo4 weeks of Japanese language training and homestay for individuals in Tokyo. Participants stay 1 night at hotel in Tokyo on arrival.

Language Training Site:

Tokyo Japanese Language Center, 3-5-4 Shibakoen, Minato-ku, Tokyo

Class Hours:

09:10-12:20 or 13:30-16:40 depending upon the level

Accommodation:

Participants will  stay with host families at a commuting distance of about 1 to 1.5 hours from Tokyo Japanese Language Center.

What is included in the cost

What is not included in the cost

  • Local transport between host family and language centre (about ¥15,000-25,000)
  • Extracurricular activities at the language centre

Programme Requirements

  • Participants must be aged 18 - 50 years
  • Partiipants must be able to read and write Hiragana and Katakana before arrival in Japan
  • Participants must prove evidence of insurance cover
  • Participants must arrive at the hotel in Tokyo on the stated date

Application Process

Applications must be received in Japan before the deadline date. Documents required for application:

  • Tokyo Japanese Language Center application form with photo attached
  • Homestay Application form
  • 'Dear Family' letter
  • 2 passport-sized photos and 1 casual photo
  • Full programme fee

Cancellation Policy

  • Before placement:  25% of total programme fee
  • After placement: 50% of total programme fee
  • No show: 100% (full programme fee)
  • No refund will be made for any reason after starting the programme.
