European Funded UK Programmes
EIL is very proud of it's UK based cross-cultural programmes which are funded through the European Youth in Action and LifeLong Learning programmes. These are fairly new programmes for EIL and are proving to be very successful.
Grundtvig is part of the European Union’s Lifelong Learning Programme and its funding is for training opportunities for UK adult education organisations, staff & learners. We offer 2 Grundtvig experiences: Learner Workshops and In Service Training.
"Changing Minds" was set up 3 years ago to bring together UK young people from different backgrounds but the same area, who wouldn't normally meet. During the project, young people spend time finding about themselves and each other, learn about culture and stereotyping, and talk about issues that affect young people. They also do a wide range of activities and meet policy makers responsible for youth issues. It has been run so far in Gloucester, Worcester/Malvern and Hereford/Ross. Find out more here.
