Grundtvig Learner Workshops
Our Grundtvig Learner Workshops provide adult learners from across Europe with the chance to take part in a workshop in the UK. The aim is for workshops to be fun and interactive events, where learners have the opportunity to share their experiences and develop their own learning.
*This year’s Workshop is 11th - 17th July and is entitled “History, Traditions and Superstitions: exploring folklore and story-telling across cultures”. Photography, drawing and book-binding will be the common ‘language’ of the workshop as we explore the topic. Participants will also get the chance to visit the Tewkesbury Medieval Festival which gives a flavour of British history and traditions! We also have some places available for local people to come and join in.*
Applications are now closed for this workshop. Come back in July to find out how it went!

Learning Workshop - “Learning Together through Creative Arts” - June 2011
EIL hosted 16 young people from 6 different countries for a week in Malvern, Worcestershire. The aims were to prove that learning could be fun, to boost people’s self-confidence and to develop people’s creative and artistic skills, including those who were complete beginners to creative arts! People had the chance to try their hand at a variety of activities, including pottery, drawing, photography, brass rubbing, drama and graffiti art. Feedback from the group was extremely positive “It was great meeting people from lots of countries … we had a really fun week!”.
