Work for us

EIL is a charity providing intercultural learning opportunities through homestay, study abroad, international volunteering and cultural group programmes. We also offer opportunities for UK participants to increase their awareness of cultural diversity and develop tolerance and understanding.

We welcome hundreds of international visitors of all ages to the UK each year and prepare our volunteers to travel abroad. They all have one thing in common – the willingness to learn about new cultures and to share their own by living as part of a family.

If you are interested in joining our dedicated team, please take a look at the opportunities below.

We are seeking to recruit:

This part-time flexible role would suit a highly organised person with experience in administration who is self-employed.

Host Families
Bring the world to your home! If you live in England, Scotland or Wales and would like to host international visitors from a one-day visit up to a school year, take a look at the Host Family role. Register your interest by email or use the form on the Contact page.

Independent Listener
If you have experience of working with and supporting young people, this role might interest you.

Co-ordinators
If you enjoy learning about different cultures and could offer support to international students and adults far from home, you could be just the person we are looking for to join our friendly team of co-ordinators supporting participants and host families.

Thank you for your interest in working and hosting for EIL UK.
