EIL UK is a charity providing intercultural learning opportunities through homestays, study abroad, international volunteering and cultural group programmes. We also offer opportunities for UK participants to increase their awareness of cultural diversity and build tolerance and understanding.

Volunteering Opportunities

Hosts

Welcoming international visitors to your home is a wonderful opportunity to learn about other countries and cultures and form friendships that can last a lifetime. Wherever you live in the UK, you can join EIL’s community of hosts.

We are currently expanding our network of hosts. For an informal chat to find out more about hosting adults or students with EIL for a weekend, a few weeks or longer, please email volunteer@eiluk.org or call Calvin in the EIL office on 01684 562577 for an informal chat.

Support Volunteers

We are always looking for volunteers who can assist us with admin tasks in the office and help out on group cultural excursions and day trips. This can be a great way to meet new people, learn new skills or enhance your CV. Summer Work Experience

We are now closed for applications from high school students aged 17-18yrs for 2-4 week Summer Work Experience Placements.
