Every donation to EIL UK fosters friendship and understanding between people of different cultures and supports our work to create a more tolerant, just and peaceful world. There are different ways to donate in support of our work. You can choose to make a donation to the charity or to our Friends Fund:
- make a one-off or a regular donation directly into our bank account via a transfer, standing order or direct debit
- pay a donation into our PayPal account
- send an EIL UK e-card for Christmas and make a donation
- leave a legacy gift in your will.
Leaving a gift in your will
A gift in your will could make a difference to our work. Whether your legacy is large or small, every pound matters to us and makes a real difference.
October 2026 is Free Wills Month and we have teamed up with Farewill, a specialist charity will-writing partner, to offer free wills for our hosts and other volunteers. For further information, click the button below.
As well as the knowledge that you will be helping secure the future of EIL, there are other benefits to leaving a gift in this way as it will be exempt from inheritance tax. It is also a way of supporting EIL that will not affect your bank balance now.
If you are contemplating leaving a gift to EIL in your will we would truly appreciate learning of your intention. This is both to ensure that your requests are met as fully as possible and to allow us the opportunity to say thank you.
