Format (sample itinerary)

  • London Heathrow Airport – Transfer to hostel for safety, cultural & homestay orientation
  • 3 nights in London. Visit the British Museum, take a flight on the London Eye, cruise on the River Thames
  • Transfer to homestay community (individual or double placements), 10nights with host families in Worcester a picturesque city overlooked byits twelfth century Cathedral. Birthplace of the composer Sir Edward Elgar and the site of the final battle of the English Civil War
  • Community service programme
  • 7 nights homestay in the Medieval walled city of Chester or traditional Victorian seaside town of Southport

Activities

  • 30 hours of English language tuition
  • Spend a day at a local school
  • Excursion to the historic university city of Oxford – Tour the world famous Christ Church College (setting for Harry Potter films)
  • Day trip to William Shakespeare’s Birthplace, Stratford upon Avon
  • Walk the beautiful Malvern Hills
  • Visit the Museum of Welsh Life at St Fagens and Cardiff, capital city of Wales
