About the Project
Support the growth and development of young children at a community kindergarten in Ho Chi Minh City through creative learning and daily care. As a volunteer, you will work alongside local teachers to engage children aged 3-6 in fun educational activities such as songs, games, storytelling, arts and basic English lessons. By assisting local teachers in daily classroom activities, volunteers play an important role in strengthening children’s English communication skills and social development through interactive and play-based learning.

The programme is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with children, are eager to experience local culture and want to make a positive impact while gaining valuable teaching and childcare experience abroad.

How Volunteers Make a Difference
Your support will help create a positive, nurturing environment where children can build confidence, develop communication skills and enjoy meaningful social interactions. Volunteers also assist with daily routines, providing valuable one-on-one attention and extra support to the local teaching staff. Examples of volunteer activities include:

  • Supporting English learning through interactive lessons covering pronunciation, numbers, shapes, letters and simple writing
  • Leading engaging activities such as songs, storytelling, games, arts & crafts and dance sessions
  • Assisting local teachers with lesson preparations and classroom activities
  • Taking part in wider kindergarten activities, supporting children at mealtimes and with daily hygiene routines, supervising naptime and helping ensure children are comfortable and settled
